The Catamounts got off to a strong start scoring their first goal within the first forty seconds of play

The Aggies came out of their halftime huddle strong with Kim scoring her first goal of the season within the first two minutes of the third quarter with some help from senior captain Caroline Stutte off of a penalty corner

The Catamounts answered that Aggie goal with a goal of their own in the 49th minute

The Aggies and Edwards wasted no time in scoring an equalizer goal just one minute after Vermont in the fourth quarter, tying things up at 2-2

After 60 minutes of play the Aggies and Catamounts were knotted up and would need a seven-on-seven ten minute sudden-death overtime period to decide the day

In the 69th minute, nine minutes into the period, Vermont got the winning goal to snag the victory late from the Aggies.
