Box Score DAVIS, Calif. — UC Davis lost their fifth straight game to a top-ten opponent with an 18-10 loss to No. 2 UCLA on Saturday afternoon at the Cal Cup.

Sam Yoo posted the Aggies' first hat trick of the season, but UCLA's 11-3 first half advantage proved too much to overcome.

UC Davis came out of the midway break strong putting in four goals to the Bruins' two in the period. 

Grace Pelkey and Ashley Wallin contributed two goals a piece in the contest. Pelkey tacked on three blocks and a steal.

UCLA reversed course in the final frame putting up five goals to the Aggies' three.

Nellie McAdams played all 32 minutes in the cage, recording 13 saves on 40 UCLA shot attempts. 

UC Davis is back in action tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. to take on No. 3 Cal.
