San Francisco, Calif. – The UC Davis men's golf team continues its Spring slate, as the Aggies head to TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, Calif., to compete in the 53
rd edition of The Goodwin. The three-day, three-round event begins March 30
th and ends on April 1
st on the 6,939-yard, par-70 course. Additionally there is a College Amature pro event before The Goodwin on Wednesday, March 29
th.

THE GOODWIN HISTORY
The Aggies will be competing in the 53
rd edition of The Goodwin, after an incredible eight-place finish last Spring. Spurred by junior
Lucas Carper who fired a 3-under 67 and finished as the runner-up. UC Davis historically won the event in 2016 as an unranked competitor.

A total of 28-teams will be competing at The Goodwin. Those teams include; Arkansas Little-Rock, BYU, Cal Poly, Colorado, Florida Atlantic, Fresno State, Georgia Tech, Howard, Lipscomb, Mercer, Nevada, Northern Illinois, Oklahoma, Oregon, Saint Mary's, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose State, Santa Clara, Stanford, SMU, UC Davis, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Utah, USC, Washington and Washington State.
THE COURSE
TPC Harding Park is a 54-hole stroke play, logged at 7,193-yards with a par-70. The course opened in 1925 and was named after the U.S. President Warren G. Harding. TPC Harding Park has been host to prestigious events such as the 2020 PGA Championship.

UC Davis will continue its Spring session in Chandler, Ariz. for the Wyoming Cowboy Classic. The event begins on Monday, April 3
rd at the Whirlwind Golf Club.
