DAVIS, Calif. – The UC Davis softball team (6-3) heads to Stanford for a midweek contest on Wednesday, March 1, before hosting the Capital Classic this weekend at La Rue Field. The Aggies will play five games in their return to their home field and are slated play six total games this week.
THE FIELD
After the Aggies play the Cardinal, UC Davis will welcome Siena, Alabama State, Saint Mary's, Southern Utah and Causeway rival Sacramento State to the Capital Classic.
WILSON INVITE RECAP

Kenedi Brown tossed her second career no-hitter en route to blanking Louisiana Monroe, 4-0. After a heartbreaker to ULM on Saturday morning, the Ags dropped a close one to Cal, 3-1. Junior
Sarah Nakahara led the Aggies with a .600 average, six hits, two RBI and eight total bases. Junior
Anna Dethlefson returned to go 5-for-10 and swiped three bases.
AGGIE LEADERS
Nakahara (.458) and Dethlefson (.455) enter the weekend leading the Aggies in hitting. Nakahara has collected 11 hits and scored four runs while Dethlefson has 10 hits, a team-high six runs and four stolen bases. In the circle, Brown is 4-1 with a 1.72 ERA. The righthander has held opposing hitters to just a .119 clip and has struck out 16 in 20.1 innings. The Aggies as a staff sport a 1.78 ERA.
