DAVIS, Calif. – UC Davis women's basketball has announced its official game dates for the 2023-24 season, with start times and broadcasting information to be announced shortly. Along with a challenging Big West Conference slate, the Aggies will face four teams that reached the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

NONCONFERENCE HOME GAMES
UC Davis will open its 2023-23 season by hosting
Academy of Art on Nov. 6 at the University Credit Union, the first of four nonconference contests to be played on home court. Later that week,
Portland State of the Big Sky will make its way to Davis for a matchup on Nov. 9 at 5 p.m.
In December, two local opponents will wrap up the slate of nonconference home games as
Jessup University will be the opponent on Dec. 5 while
Saint Mary's comes to town on Dec. 10.
NONCONFERENCE ROAD GAMES
The Aggies feature some exciting road games during their nonconference schedule, taking on three PAC-12 opponents before the end of the calendar year.
San Diego State will be the first foe when UC Davis travels to down to Viejas Arena for a 6 p.m, tipoff on Nov. 13. At the end of that week, the Aggies head up to the Pacific Northwest to face
Oregon State on Nov. 17.
The Ags will take on Causeway rivals
Sacramento State in The Nest on Nov. 21, and after Thanksgiving break, will return to action on Nov. 29 at
Boise State.
The Aggies will conclude their nonconference schedule with two intriguing matchups against teams who earned NCAA Tournament appearances a season ago. On Dec. 1, winners of last season's PAC-12 Tournament, No. 22
Washington State, will host UC Davis in Pullman, Wash. The final nonconference game will be the most exciting of the bunch as No. 5
Stanford will be the opponent on Dec. 20, making it five consecutive years the Cardinal have been on the Aggies' schedule.
BIG WEST CONFERENCE GAMES
The Aggies will hope to improve upon its fourth-place finish in the conference standings, looking to return to their former glory that was enjoyed from 2016-2021 when
Jennifer Gross' team won five Big West titles.
UC Davis will begin its march towards the title on Dec. 28 at
UC Santa Barbara, looking to avenge last year's exit from the Big West Tournament at the hands of the Gauchos. The Aggies will close the opening weekend with
Cal Poly on Dec. 30.
January marks the return to the University Credit Union Center as
UC Riverside (Jan. 4) and last year's regular season champions
UC Irvine (Jan. 6) make the trip up north. Four out of the next five contests will take place on the road -
CSUN (Jan. 11),
Cal State Bakersfield (Jan. 13),
UC Irvine (Jan. 20), and
UC San Diego (Jan. 27) – with the lone home game taking place on Jan. 18 against
Cal State Fullerton.
Coming back around in February, the Aggies will play host to
UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 1) and
Cal Poly (Feb. 3) before taking on
Cal State Fullerton in Southern California on Feb. 8.
Reigning Big West Tournament champions
Hawai'i will come from the island on Feb. 10 to face the Aggies in Davis before the team heads back on the road to take on
Long Beach State (Feb. 15) and
UC Riverside (Feb. 17).
The Aggies will play four of their next five games in the comfort of their own gym for a decent home stand that features
CSUN (Feb. 22),
Cal State Bakersfield (Feb. 24),
UC San Diego (Mar. 7), and
Long Beach State (Mar. 9). The final road matchup of the season will take place in Manoa for the return fixture against
Hawai'i on Feb. 29.
The 2024 Hercules Tires Big West Women's Basketball Championship will once again be held in Henderson, Nev. at the Dollar Loan Center from Mar. 13-16. New this season for the eight-team format is the automatic advancement of the top two regular season seeds into the semifinals.
