Box Score SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The UC Davis men's tennis team dropped the backend of its season-opening road trip to Utah, 6-1, Saturday afternoon at the George S. Eccles Tennis Center.

Brett Brinkman was the lone Aggie winner on the day, downing Francisco Bastias, 6-3, 0-6, 10-6 on the No. 2 court.

Sam De Vries took Mateo Julio the distance but fell, 7-6 (9-7), 5-7, 10-8, as did Andrei Volgin on court one, 5-7, 6-3, 10-1.

UC Davis will kick off its home slate on Saturday, Jan. 28 against San Francisco at the Marya Welch Tennis Center.
