2022-23: BIG WEST HONOR ROLL... BIG WEST CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM… BIG WEST FIRST TEAM DOUBLES… BIG WEST SECOND TEAM SINGLES… Led the Aggies on court 1 in both singles and doubles… Finished the season with a 6-10 singles record… Started off the season with an Aggie Invitational singles finals berth and advanced to the semifinal round of the Battle of the Bay qualifier… In doubles, he spent the majority of the season alongside Mitchell Davis… The duo finished 9-9 overall and 3-2 in the Big West… Added one more doubles win with Sam De Vries as a partner against William Jessup University.

2021-22: ALL-BIG WEST FIRST TEAM SINGLES… ALL-BIG WEST SECOND TEAM DOUBLES… BIG WEST CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC… Finished 11-7 at No. 1 singles during the spring season… Posted an 11-10 mark in doubles, going 9-9 on the No. 1 court… Named BIG WEST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK on Feb. 16… Boasted an eight-match unbeaten streak than spanned from Jan. 21 through Feb. 19… Won the opening round match in the Big West Conference Championship against Emmanuel Coste of UC Irvine in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4… Also won the opening round doubles match with Mitchell Davis, downing Coste and Noah Zamora of UC Irvine, 7-5.

2021: ITA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE... BIG WEST CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... ALL-BIG WEST SECOND TEAM SINGLES… ALL-BIG WEST DOUBLES HONORABLE MENTION… Won seven of 15 singles matches played throughout the 2021 spring season, a total that includes four of six at No. 2 and three of five at No. 3… Collected 11 doubles wins throughout the 2021 spring season, a team-high total… Ten of those results were earned at No. 2, the other took place at No. 3… All 11 doubles wins were earned with Davis as his partner… Enjoyed a strong start to the season by winning five straight doubles matches: at Saint Mary’s, at Santa Clara, vs. San Francisco (2/20), Nevada (2/25) and at San Diego State (3/5)… Also won three of four doubles matches, midway through the season, when he and Davis defeated New Mexico State, Utah (4/2) and UC Santa Barbara (4/4)… Posted a 6-1 doubles win vs. Hawai’i’s Axel Labrunie and Blaz Seric at the Big West Men’s Tennis Championship (4/30)… Earned consecutive singles victories when the Aggies hosted San Francisco (2/20) and Nevada (2/25), traveled to UC San Diego (3/7) and at home vs. San Francisco (3/12), and faced UC Santa Barbara (4/4) and Hawai’i (4/10) at the Marya Welch Tennis Center… First singles win of the season took place in three sets at Santa Clara (2/18)… The team did not participate in any fall events due to COVID-19.

2019-20: Posted 22-6 overall, 8-2 dual singles record in debut season as an Aggie… Led all Aggies with 22 singles wins this season to sit tied for sixth in the record book for single season wins… Tied for most dual wins on the team at eight… After the opening dual match at No. 12 Stanford, won the next six consecutive duals, including at UNLV… Went 1-0 at No. 3, 4-2 at No. 4, and 3-0 at No. 5… Finished the season with a 4-1 three set record in dual matches… Won first five singles matches in the fall, winning the Aggie Invitational B Flight... Reached the final of the Pacific Invitational… Beat Cal Poly’s Fernando Fonseca and Washington’s Jack Pulliam, both in three sets… Three of the four losses in the fall were in close third sets… Set the program record with 14 tournament wins… In doubles, compiled a 19-10 overall, 5-7 dual record, playing with Arjith Jayaraman and Daniel Landa… Evenly split between the two partners, going 9-3 with Jayaraman primarily in the fall, and 10-7 with Landa throughout the year… Won first nine consecutive doubles matches to win back-to-back titles at the Aggie Invitational B Flight, and the Bulldog Classic… Also reached the final of the Pacific Invitational, and won three of his four matches at the Husky Classic… Remainder of the spring dual season was canceled on Mar. 12 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

MENLO SCHOOL ’19: Played tennis all four years for the Knights… Four-time All-West Bay Athletic League First Team honoree… Earned high school tennis All-American honors senior year… Awarded league MVP senior year after posting fourth-straight season with 20+ wins… Reached a career-high national ranking of No. 53 on TennisRecruiting.net to be a Five Star Recruit… Won the doubles title at the Oracle/ITA Summer Circuit event at UC Davis the summer before attending UC Davis… Also played soccer his senior year, and scored a goal… Academically, was an AP Scholar with Distinction… 

PERSONAL: From Fremont, Calif… Most people don’t know he is fluent in Russian, was the first in his family to be born in the US, and he played competitive hockey when he was younger… Proudest personal accomplishment is helping his high school tennis team win the National Invitational tournament… Career sports highlight is competing at Kalamazoo (USTA Boys 18 National Championships)… Favorite movie is Superbad… Plans to go to medical school after UC Davis… Chose UC Davis Athletics because the coaches showed they cared about him as an athlete and person, for the high-quality academics, and because the team made him feel welcome.
