Box Score DENVER, Colo. – The UC Davis men's tennis team fell in its first match of 2023, 5-2 on Friday at the Denver Tennis Park.

After the Aggies won two of the three doubles matches to start off with the doubles point, Denver rallied to secure five singles wins to claim the match. Constantinos Djakouris earned the lone singles victory on the afternoon, downing Anish Sriniketh, 7-6 (7-4), 6-4.

In doubles, Mitchell Davis paired with Andrei Volgin to defeat Mitch Johnson and Sriniketh, 7-6 (10-8). Coleton Hootman and Lucas Bollinger were victorious against Conner Olsen and Charlie Miller, 6-3.

The Aggies continue their road swing at Utah tomorrow. The match will begin at 11 a.m.
