Santa Clara, Calif. - UC Davis wrapped up its non-conference schedule on Saturday night, drawing 0-0 with Santa Clara to head into its Big West slate. 

The Aggies out shot Santa Clara 10-9 and Charles Janssen made five saves to preserve the tie and pick up his second shutout of the season. 

Andy Velasquez and Ryan Dieter had both the Aggies' chances on goal. 

The meeting was the first official game between the teams since 2018 after they met for an exhibition in 2021. 

UC Davis head into conference play at 1-5-2 with a date against Cal Poly at home on Sept. 28.
