Davis, Calif. - Junior Noelle Wijnbelt earned her fourth career Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-America distinction when the organization announced its 2022 awards on Wednesday. 

Wijnbelt was named honorable mention after earning third team honors in 2019 and 2021 and second team in 2020. 

She joins Tiffany Hodgens as the only Aggies to be recognized by the ACWPA in four seasons and Wijnbelt is the first to do it in four consecutive seasons. Hodgens was named an ACWPA All-American six times in her career, having been recognized at the Division I and Division II levels in 2001 and 2004. 

Despite missing time with an injury, Wijnbelt had a career-best year with 58 goals, the ninth-best individual scoring season in program history. She's now the third-leading scorer all-time in program history with 203 goals to date. Wijnbelt's 217 career points are also the seventh best mark in the varsity era of the program that dates back to 1997.
