Jim Les announced.
An Academic All-Big Sky selection as a freshman at Montana in 2020-21 and an All-Big Sky Honorable Mention as a sophomore in 2021-22, Beasley brings with him a wealth of experience at the Division I level.
He was the Grizzlies' second-leading scorer last season, averaging 11.8 points per game, shot 39.1 percent from the field and 82.4 percent from the free throw line.
He also averaged a steal per game at 32 on the season. Beasley will immediately step in as one of the top three-point shooters on the Aggies after shooting 36.9 percent last season and making 2.1 threes per game, a number that would have put him fourth in the Big West.
He was even more productive during Montana's conference schedule, averaging 13.1 points and shooting 40.6 percent from the field over 20 games. He led Montana in scoring seven times, setting his career-high of 24 on Feb. 12 against Portland State.
Beasley III was a 2020 graduate of Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon after spending his first three seasons at Dublin High School. At Dublin, he averaged 17.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game while leading the Gaels to an 80-17 record and was a three-star recruit out of high school according to ESPN and Rivals.
