San Diego, Calif. - Despite playing shorthanded, UC Davis battled San Diego State on Sunday afternoon before falling 17-21 to the Aztecs.

Ella Brislin had four goals, the third time this season she's scored at least four times in a game.
Grace Gebhardt had a career day with the freshman netting five goals and three assists to lead the Aggies.
Despite playing shorthanded, the Aggies jumped out to a 5-2 lead through one quarter on goals by Brislin, Gebhardt,
Brooke Tokushige, and two by Agnew. San Diego State surged back though, scoring six goals in the second and third quarters before the Aggies matched them with seven goals in the fourth quarter.
UC Davis have just one game remaining on the schedule this season with a trip to USC on April 30 next on the docket.
