Davis, Calif. - Coming off of an 8-4 football season with a trip to the FCS Playoffs and a 2021 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation title in lacrosse, UC Davis Athletics is setting its sights on more wins and championships at UC Davis Health Stadium in 2022. 

One part of those efforts includes a bold new turf design to be installed in the coming months. The design incorporates a cartoon variation of Gunrock while making the field impossible to miss from any angle or vantage point.
 

Like the design? Too bad, because although we are getting a new turf, the design will be on brand! April Fools!
