LONG BEACH, Calif. – The UC Davis beach volleyball team finished up its trip to Southern California as they took on No.12 Cal Poly, CSUN and Sacramento State at Rosie's Dog Beach. The Aggies won two matches – 4-1 over CSUN and 5-0 over the Hornets – and fell, 5-0, to the Mustangs.
 
The Aggies fell in all five sets against the Mustangs. The tightest match was the No. 4 spot between Kylie Miller and Tabitha Mitchell of UC Davis and Piper Naess and Sam Strah of Cal Poly. Naess and Strah defeated Miller and Mitchell 21-13, 25-23.
 
In the dual against CSUN, after the Matadors had tied the match at 1-1, the Aggies won the final three matches for the 4-1 victory.  
 
In the dual against Sacramento State, the Aggies would win all five matches with one being by forfeit.
 
Chelsea Maeglin and Colleen McGuire, as a pairing, won all of their individual matches on the day.

UC Davis will continue their road trip next weekend as they take on Long Beach State and Cal on Friday in Berkeley.
