Philadelphia, Penn. - UC Davis began a three-game swing through Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon, falling to Temple 6-11.
Mia Lawrence extended her scoring streak to seven games with a third quarter goal and
Alex Agnew had four assists for the second time this season, just missing becoming the seventh woman in school history to have five assists in a game. Agnew is now seven assists away from making the all-time top ten list for career assists.
For the second straight game, the Aggies struck first with
Kendall Seifert scoring on an assist from Agnew with 8:18 to go in the first. That lead held through the first quarter until Temple answered with five straight goals in the second. UC Davis went on to outscore Temple 3-2 in the third on goals by
Ella Brislin and two by
Regan Arkless to enter the fourth quarter down just 5-7. The Owls pulled away outscoring UC Davis 4-1 in the final period to secure the win.
The road trip continues on Tuesday at Lehigh and Saturday at Villanova after which the Aggies will go two weeks between games before hosting Oregon on April 9.
