SAN JOSE, Calif. – The UC Davis women's tennis team won for the second consecutive day, downing San Jose State on the road, 4-3, Saturday from the Spartan Tennis Complex.
 
The Aggies won four singles matches to secure the victory after dropping the doubles point. Sophomore Michelle Zell clinched it for UC Davis at the No. 6 singles position, defeating Lara Marco Mas, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.

Junior Yana Gurevich won her 10^th singles match of the dual season, winning in straight sets over Oleksandra Andrieieva, 6-4, 6-3. At the No. 3-spot, freshman Arianna Stavropoulos downed Rozalina Youseva, 6-2, 1-6, 6-3. Junior Kristina Evloeva defeated Jovana Babic at No. 5 singles, 6-2, 6-3.

Gurevich and Stavropoulos teamed up to win the lone doubles match for the Aggies, 6-1.
 
The Aggies will return to action next Saturday, March 5, taking on Saint Mary's at the Mayra Welch Tennis Complex at noon.
