IN THE RANKINGS: For the second straight week, the UC Davis women's basketball team stands among a group of 23 teams listed as those "receiving votes" in the latest College Insider mid-major poll released on Feb. 15. The Aggies opened at No. 9 in the preseason rankings -- and reached as high as No. 10 in the regular season -- marking the highest for the program in that poll since the Aggies stood eighth on Feb. 27, 2018.
ABOUT THE MUSTANGS: Cal Poly enters the week with a 3-15 overall record and a 2-7 mark in Big West Conference play after splitting its games last week on the road at CSUN (W, 56-55) and at UC Santa Barbara (L, 73-40)... Two of the team's three wins have come at home, posting a 2-10 record at the Mott Athletic Center... Maddie Vick is the lone Mustang in double figures, averaging 10.6 ppg and shooting .402 from the field, while Kristy Brown is the team's leader on the boards at 6.5 rpg... Cal Poly is averaging 56.9 ppg and shooting .363 from the field, while opponents are averaging 68.4 ppg and shooting .389 overall.
