Davis, Calif. — The UC Davis field hockey team travels back East, to take on Bryant University and UAlbany in America East Play. The Aggies are on the hunt for their first conference win of the season and after a nail biter of a game against Cal a week ago. The momentum seems to be trending up towards a strong finish in Austin Pile's first season as head coach.

BRYANT NOTES
The Aggies hold a 5-0 record all time against Bryant University. This will be the first matchup between the two programs since 2017. The Bryant Bulldogs carry an overall record of 4-8, and are 0-3 in America East play in 2022. Brittany Gouws leads the Bulldogs with seven goals on the year.
UALBANY NOTES
The Great Danes come into this matchup ranked #21 in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll with their most recent win an upset of #16 Boston College. UC Davis is 0-5 all time against UAlbany. The Great Danes are led by Alison Smisdom and her 11 goals on the season.
AGGIE NOTES
UC Davis enters the weekend with a record of 1-8, searching for the first conference win of the year. The Aggies have been led by Brooke Sanchez who has a team high five goals. Lizzy Tedrow leads the team with four assists while Milou Korthouwer and Caroline Stutte follow right behind with three each. This trip includes two important games for the Aggies before heading back to Aggie Field Hockey Facility Friday, Oct. 21 and taking on James Madison to celebrate Senior Day.
