Emma Wood netted her first career goal to put UC Davis on the board, but the Aggies ultimately dropped a 3-1 decision to Dartmouth on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Dartmouth struck early in the opening period, as Ruby Walsh scored 5:20 into the match to give the Big Green a 1-0 lead before UC Davis responded with heavy pressure, hitting the post on a strike by Ella Franken and forcing a save on an Addie Goldstein attempt.
- The Big Green extended their advantage in the second quarter as Amelie Luessmann found the back of the cage to push Dartmouth's lead to 2-0 heading into halftime.
- The Aggie defense held firm in the third quarter behind three key saves from Collingwood, keeping the game within reach entering the final 15 minutes.
- UC Davis broke through in the fourth quarter when Wood converted off an assist from Anderson at the 54:27 mark following a penalty corner sequence to pull the Aggies within one at 2-1.
- Despite a hard fought battle, Dartmouth answered late in the final period as Walsh added a second goal in the 59th minute to bring the final score to 3-1.
