HAYWARD, Calif.  – The Aggies opened their 2022-23 season against the University of Nevada and host Cal State East Bay in Hayward on Saturday. The Aggies defeated CSU East Bay, 194-67, and fell 140-120, to UNR.
 
Senior Anna Lee was the top scorer of the day for the Aggies as she won the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.50) and 100-yard butterfly (57.43). Lee also finished fourth in the 100-yard freestyle.
 
Senior Julie Kwan (200 yard butterfly) and freshman Emma Hermeston (200 yard backstroke) each won their individual event. The team of seniors Caroline Eckel, Dani Fasan and Ashley Ma and sophomore Katie McLain won the 200-yard medley relay in 1:45.53.
 
The Aggies will hit the pool next week as they will have their first MPSF meet of the season as they take on UC San Diego at Schaal Aquatics Center. The meet will start at Noon.
