CAL STATE FULLERTON: Jeff Harada is in his 12th year overall as a head coach and his fifth at the helm of the Titans' program. Harada is 151-168 (.473) overall and 49-78 (.386) as head coach at Cal State Fullerton.
LONG BEACH STATE: Jeff Cammon is in his fifth season overall as a head coach -- all at Long Beach State -- posting a 54-73 (.425) overall record with The Beach.

IN THE RANKINGS: Back in the win column and moving back up the list according to the latest College Insider Mid-Major poll released on Jan. 25, jumping three spots to No. 16 in this week's rankings. The Aggies opened at No. 9 in the College Insider preseason rankings -- and reached as high as No. 10 in the regular season -- marking the highest for the program in that poll since the Aggies stood at No. 8 in the Feb. 27, 2018, poll. UC Davis has been ranked every week dating back to the final poll of 2019-20.

ABOUT THE TITANS: Cal State Fullerton enters the week with a 6-9 overall record and a 1-4 mark in Big West play, having lost its last three straight to UC Santa Barbara (in overtime), UC Irvine, and UC San Diego... The Titans' last win was a 65-50 victory over CSUN for their first conference victory of the season... Fullerton is 4-3 at home and just 2-6 away from the friendly confines of Titan Gym... Freshman guard Lily Wahinekapu leads a trio of Fullerton players in double digits, averaging 13.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game, while shooting .393 from the floor... Fujika Nimmo (10.9 ppg) and Ashlee Lewis (10.1 ppg) are also in double figures... The Titans are averaging 60.9 ppg and shooting .408 from the field as a team, while opponents are averaging 66.1 ppg and .410 shooting from the floor.

SERIES NOTES: UC Davis leads the all-time series with Cal State Fullerton by a 22-11 count, having won 12 of the last 13 meetings... The two teams did not meet during the 2020-21 regular season, but the Aggies did post a 61-54 triumph over the Titans in last year's Big West Tournament quarterfinals... UC Davis is 13-3 on the road against Fullerton, including winning the last 10 meetings at Titan Gym dating back to the 2010-11 season... ABOUT THE BEACH: Long Beach State enters the week with a 12-2 overall record and a 5-1 mark in Big West play to stand atop the Big West... The Beach is coming off a 2-0 week that saw them post wins over UC San Diego (62-44) and UC Irvine (62-50), extending a run that has seen them win five of their last six... Long Beach State, which takes on UC Riverside on Thursday before hosting UC Davis, is a perfect 6-0 at home this year, with its only two losses coming on the road...  Senior forward Maddi Utti, a transfer from Fresno State, leads a trio in double figures, averaging 12.7 points and 8.9 rebounds per game while shooting .475 from the field... Justina King (11.9 ppg) and Jasmine Hardy (10.1 ppg) are also in double figures... The Beach averages 63.9 ppg and shoots .417 from the field, while opponents average just 52.4 ppg and shoots .377 from the floor.

SERIES NOTES: UC Davis holds a narrow, 20-19, lead in the all-time series with Long Beach State, having won seven of the last eight... The Aggies swept a pair from the Beach during the 2020-21 regular season in Long Beach, winning by the scores of 67-52 and 67-50 in a battle for first place at the time... Of UC Davis' 20 wins in the series, 12 have come at home as the Aggies are just 7-11 on the road against Long Beach State, but they have won four of the last five there... UC Davis' win at the Walter Pyramid in 2018 snapped a seven-game losing streak in Long Beach that dated back to 2010.
