DAVIS, Calif. – Following a national search that led to Chancellor Gary S. May selecting Rocko DeLuca as the new Director of Athletics, UC Davis' mascot will change its name from Gunrock to Gunrocko, starting April 1.
 
The first opportunity for fans to take photos with Gunrocko will take place at UC Davis Health Stadium on Saturday when football faces Eastern Washington in its 1 p.m. spring finale —  the first home game that spectators can attend in person this year.
 
In addition to thanking fans for their support throughout the 2020-21 year...
