DAVIS, Calif. — UC Davis student-athletes delivered another strong academic quarter, combining for a 3.30 GPA in Winter 2026. Aggie women's teams posted a 3.39 GPA, while men's teams finished at 3.15 GPA.
Women's golf led all 25 programs with a 3.87 GPA, marking the second-highest in program history–while men's golf recorded a program-best 3.43 GPA to lead all men's teams.Â
Individually, academic success continued across the department, with 72 student-athletes achieving a 4.0 GPA (11.8%), 282 posting a 3.5 GPA or higher (46.2%), and 442 achieving a 3.0 GPA or better (72.3%).
ACADEMIC HIGHLIGHTS
- Football had the program's 2nd highest team GPA at 3.19
- Men's Basketball also had the program's 2nd highest team GPA with a 3.36
- Women's Lacrosse had the program's 2nd highest team GPA at 3.53
- Women's Tennis had the program's 3rd highest team GPA with a 3.59
- Women's Volleyball had the program's 4th highest team GPA with a 3.57
- Women's Water Polo tied the program's 4th highest GPA with a 3.47
As of Winter quarter, UC Davis student-athletes are enrolled in:
- 17 majors in the College of Agricultural & Environmental SciencesÂ
- 8 majors in the College of Biological SciencesÂ
- 9 majors in the College of EngineeringÂ
- 30 majors in the College of Letters & SciencesÂ
- 15 student-athletes are declared in the Business Major through the Graduate School of Management.
- 20 student-athletes are pursuing double majors
- 14 student-athletes in Graduate Studies
In total, athletes are pursuing over 65 different undergraduate majors and three graduate programs.
The 14 student-athletes currently competing while in graduate school are enrolled in the following programs:
- Master of Science program in Computer Science
- Master of Business Administration in the Graduate School of Management
- Master of Management in the Graduate School of Management
