SACRAMENTO, CA -- Sacramento, Calif. - Caleb Fuller scored a season-high 16 points to lead UC Davis but the Aggies fell 75-63 to Sacramento State on Tuesday night at the Golden 1 Center in downtown Sacramento.

The Aggies and Hornets were playing the annual Causeway rivalry game at what is normally the home of the Sacramento Kings for the fifth time. UC Davis fell to 2-3 in Causeway games played at the Golden 1 Center.

Elijah Pepper had 10 points and eight rebounds and Christian Anigwe added nine points and 10 rebounds.

The Aggies have shown a propensity for strong second halves and showed fight throughout the second half on Tuesday, outscoring Sac State 40-34. UC Davis held the Hornets to 34.5 percent shooting and 18.2 percent from three in the second half.

UC Davis returns to University Credit Union Center on Sunday to host Academy of Art at 2 p.m.
