DAVIS, Calif. - Playing in front of their home fans for the first time since Sept. 19, UC Davis (5-8, 1-5) kept pace with the visiting Cal Bears but dropped a close 2-0 defeat to their Bay Area rivals on Sunday afternoon.
Kalli Wagnon posted a save percentage above .800 for the fourth time this season, saving eight shots on the afternoon.
Milou Korthouwer put up four shots and
Shannon Wong,
Brooke Sanchez, and
Madison Theodore each took two with both of Wong's shots coming on the cage.
Izzy Porco fired a shot on goal within the first 30 seconds of the game.
The Aggies will wrap up the home portion of their regular season schedule on Oct. 24 when Stanford visits the Aggie Field Hockey Facility before east to finish out their America East Conference schedule.
