Senior utility Devin Holcomb picked up water polo at the age of nine, playing under her dad's assistant coach as part of his high school summer program, and later started at the club level with Foothill Water Polo.
A human development major, Holcomb had a breakout season in 2019, recording eight goals and five assists. In the past two seasons combined, Holcomb has gone a perfect 4-for-4 at the five-meter line, and has amassed five field blocks in 12 games this season — a team-high average.
Holcomb completed her first career hat trick as an Aggie in 2020, putting up three goals against Pomona-Pitzer at the Triton Invitational.

Any gameday superstitions?
I have to make my last shot during warm up and will keep shooting until I make one.
Favorite food?
More of a favorite restaurant, but Shogun Teppanyaki's filet mignon and fried rice — I could eat that every day of the year for every meal.

Favorite sport to watch outside of water polo?
Basketball.
Favorite color?
Light blue or yellow.
Favorite memory from UC Davis?
Being able to travel to Spain with my team and play in a beach water polo tournament. Also traveling to Italy with Kathleen Schafle and exploring Venice, Florence, and Rome.
Cake or pie?
Cake, hands down.
What has been your favorite place to play water polo at?
Either in Eger, Hungary at a pool that was entirely filled with fresh spring water and had rocks at the bottom, or the Piscina Municipal de Montjuic in Barcelona that overlooks the city.
If you could time-travel, when would you go and why?
I would go 20 years into the future to see what all my friends and I are up to.

HDE130 (Developmental Psychopathology) with Professor Uresti.
