OPENING TIP: Coming off a loss for the first time since the start of Big West Conference play, the UC Davis women's basketball team has the chance to begin another winning streak at The Pavilion this week, welcoming Cal Poly and UC Irvine to Northern California to open a three-game homestand. The Aggies and Mustangs tip-off on Wednesday (Feb. 12) at 6 p.m., before meeting the Anteaters for the second time in a week on Saturday (Feb. 15) at 2:30 p.m. in the first game of a doubleheader with the UC Davis men's team.

PROMOS: UC Davis "plays pink" for breast cancer awareness on Wednesday against Cal Poly, with pink t-shirts and ribbons handed out to the first arriving fans. On Saturday, the Aggies recognize Black History Month by partnering with the Coalition of African Diaspora Student-Athletes (CADSA) as well as handing out t-shirts in celebration of the event to the first arriving students. Along with CADSA, members of the National Panhellenic Council -- including Alpha Kappa Alpha, Zeta Phi Beta, Delta Sigma Theta, Kappa Alpha Psi, and Phi Beta Sigma, the Black Engineers Association, the Minority Association of Premedical Students, the Black Pre-Law Student Association, and African Diaspora Cultivating Education, will be tabling at the event, with halftime performances from the NPHC Stroll and AfroVibes.

ABOUT CAL POLY: The Mustangs enter the week with a 6-14 overall record and a 3-6 mark in conference play, having won two of their last three after splitting with Hawai'i (L, 59-46) and Long Beach State (W, 61-41) last week at home... Cal Poly is just 1-8 away from home, posting its first road victory at CSUN on Feb. 1, snapping a 17-game road skid dating back to a win over SeattleU last year... Sierra Campisano (16.4 ppg, 8.6 rpg) and Abbey Ellis (15.3 ppg, 3.5 apg, 1.45 spg) are averaging double figures, while Alicia Roufosse is shooting a team-best .456 from the field.
