Start time set for 2019 season opener at Cal

DAVIS, Calif. – UC Davis will open the 2019 season on Aug. 31, at Cal, and the defending Big Sky champions now know when kickoff will take place in this nationally televised matchup when the Pac-12 Networks released start times for its football non-conference broadcasts.

The upcoming I-80 showdown between the Aggies and Golden Bears will begin at 3:30 p.m.

This season's showdown is the 10th all-time meeting, and first since the 2010 season.

UC Davis season ticket holders experienced a historic 2018 season from the best seats inside Aggie Stadium (known as UC Davis Health Stadium, starting July 1), which included football's first undefeated home record as a Division I program, inaugural Big Sky Conference championship, the program's first-ever FCS playoff appearance, FCS home postseason game and FCS victory when the Aggies defeated Northern Iowa in a game nationally broadcasted by ESPN.
