Davis, Calif. - Two series against PAC-12 Conference teams and an eight-game April home stand highlight the 2020 baseball schedule released by the program this week.
In addition to those Power-5 opponents, the Aggies will face two teams in UC Santa Barbara and Sac State that advanced to last season's NCAA Regionals.
The Aggies will open the season by hosting Utah February 14-16 and later travel to Washington for a three-game series in Seattle from April 24-26. In between, UC Davis will enjoy home stands of six and eight games.
The first will come February 28-March 1 and March 6-8 when the Aggies play back-to-back weekend series at Dobbins Stadium against Loyola Marymount and Mount St. Mary's. The second comes at valuable time in April just after the start of Big West Conference play.
Following a March 31 home game against San Francisco, UC Davis will get to face UC Santa Barbara and Cal State Fullerton in back-to-back home series April 3-5 and April 9-11 respectively.
The Aggies first conference matchup the year comes March 27-29 at Long Beach State.
UC Davis will also make two trips to Riverside this season, first to face Cal Baptist March 13-15 and against to see Big West foe UC Riverside April 17-19.
Of the top five teams in the conference a year ago, the Aggies will get benefit of facing three of them at home with a May 8-10 series against CSU Northridge and the final series of the regular season May 21-23 at Cal Poly the two exceptions.
UC Davis will also host North Dakota State, Boise State, Pacific, and Hawaii this season.
The annual Causeway games will come in the second half of the season with Sac State visiting on April 28 and the Aggies going to Sacramento on May 12.
