Davis, Calif. - Amanda Wilson, Cora McClelland, Julie Kwan and Taylor Hornberger took event wins on Friday morning as UC Davis wrapped up the second of two meets against Cal State East Bay, Pepperdine, and UC San Diego. 

After defeating UC San Diego on Friday, the Tritons came back to win 178-140 on Saturday. The Aggies posted dominant wins over Pepperdine and Cal State East Bay for the second straight day with scores of 253.5-64.5 and 262-50 respectively.

Wilson was the first event winner on the day for the Aggies as she led a charge that saw UC Davis pick up valuable points in the 200 Fly by sweeping spots 1-3. Wilson won in a near-identical time to her 200 Fly win on Friday in 2:05.67. 

After finishing second on Friday, Julie Kwan came back to win the 200 Back in 2:05.46. Cora McClelland also posted her first win of the year, taking the 200 Fly by over half a second in 56.69. 

For the second straight day Aggie divers picked up valuable points for UC Davis, taking spots 1-4 on the 1-meter board and 1-5 on the 3-meter board. 

Taylor Hornberger won on the 1-meter board with a 288.70 but it was freshman Sydney Wren who took first on the 3-meter board on Saturday. Wren's best dive of 297.55 was a collegiate best and the best 3-meter mark by an Aggie this season. 

UC Davis will face their first significant travel of the season next weekend when a select squad will travel to Utah to swim against BYU and Liberty University.
