STANFORD, Calif. — Being the first UC Davis team to advance to the main draw round of 16 in four years, Sara Tsukamoto and Lauren Ko fell in doubles play on day three at the ITA Northwest Regional in Stanford.
Ko and Tsukamoto faced Cal's Anna Bright and Haley Giavara, the draw's fourth seed, but fell 8-2. The duo is now tied with Nikita Pradeep and Kristina Breisacher to lead the team with five doubles wins at the conclusion of the fall season.
The Aggies wrapped up fall play with the regional, and now await the start of the spring dual season in January with a home contest against Sonoma State at 11 AM on Jan. 18, 2020.
