FAIRFAX, Calif. - Senior Paige Lee and freshman Yoonhee Kim were the top UC Davis finishers while freshman Rei Nakatani posted the team's low round of even-par 72 during the final day of the Meadow Club Women's Intercollegiate, hosted by San Francisco and San Jose State at the Meadow Club Tuesday. The Aggies finished 10th as a team with a 54-hole total of 910, 46 off par and 40 behind champion San Diego State.

Nakatani rallied late in the day with birdies on the fifth, seventh and nine holes to finish her final round at 72, the best by any UC Davis golfer during the tournament. She closed out in a tie for 45th place at 14-over-par 230, one stroke behind Lee and Kim, who tied for 40th place with 229 strokes. Freshman Christine Danielsson shot a 77 on Tuesday toward her final total of 231, part of a four-way tie for 51st place. Sophomore Samantha Hutchison rounded out the Aggie lineup in t58th with her 234 total score. San Jose State's My Leander shot 3-under 69 in the final round to finish with a 5-under-par total of 211 en route to the individual medalist honor. San Diego State won the team competition with a 870 total, four strokes ahead of runner-up Brigham Young. In fact, each of top seven teams in the tourney are ranked among the top 50 in Golfstat's Relative Ranking: No. 28 SDSU, No. 33 BYU, No. 30 Illinois, No. 27 California, No. 35 Michigan, No. 43 San Jose State and No. 36 Pepperdine.
