KAPALUA, Hawaii - Senior Paige Lee fired a 2-under-par 70 to finish in a tie for sixth place after Wednesday's final round of Anuenue Spring Break Classic women's collegiate golf tournament, helping UC Davis to a tie for seventh place in the overall team standings.

No. 7 UCLA won the overall team title with a 54-hole total of 852, or 12 strokes under par. The Aggies' 907 total tied them with Gonzaga among the 15-team field. Bruin Lilia Vu was the individual medalist with her three-round total of 12-under-par 204. Lee's finish is her best of the spring portion of the season, and the third time in 2016-17 that she has placed among the individual top 10. She previously tied for fifth at the Golfweek Conference Challenge in late September, then placed seventh outright at Stanford's Peg Barnard Invite in February. Her 70 on Wednesday also marks her best round to par since shooting a 4-under 68 at the Golfweek event. The psychology major from Folsom recorded birdies on three straight par-5 holes on the 15th, 18th and first; then carded a birdie-3 on the 340-yard second hole. Lee had ended the two previous days in a tie for ninth with teammate Samantha Hutchison, who scored a 3-over 75 to place t14th. She finished with a 54-hole total of 5-over-par 221. Freshman Christine Danielsson also shot 3-under for Wednesday's round to move up to t60th with a 237 total. Freshman Rei Nakatani finished t65th with a 240 total, four strokes in front of fellow first-year Yoonhee Kim, who placed t76th. UC Davis returns to action on April 9-11 at the Silverado Showdown in Napa, its last action before the Big West Conference Championship on April 23-27. 2017 ANUENUE SPRING BREAK CLASSIC, DAY 3
