MONTEREY PARK, Calif. -- Hilvy Cheung in the 100 fly and Hilary Hunt in the 100 back each logged a total of four NCAA "B" qualifying marks, while Cheung and the UC Davis 400 medley relay team brought home titles on Friday night, highlighting day three of competition at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Swimming & Diving Championships at East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park, Calif.

The defending champion Aggies remained in second place with 426 points heading into the final day of competition on Saturday, but still stand 88 points back of day three leader, Hawai'i, which has 514 points.

Cheung claimed her first career individual MPSF title, touching in a time of 53.65 in the 100 fly to best the NCAA "B" qualifying mark of 54.49. Cheung, who out-touched BYU's Haley Bertoldo by two-tenths of a second for the second fastest time by an Aggie this season in the event, also clinched another NCAA "B" mark in the event prelims, finishing third among the field with a time of 54.38.

The sophomore from Fremont, California, also set an NCAA "B" qualifying mark back on Dec. 4 at the Texas Hall of Fame Invitational in the same event, touching in a time of 53.55.

Hunt also recorded an NCAA "B" time in the 100 back, finishing in a time of 54.42 to finish second. The senior from Los Gatos, California, posted a time of 54.17 in the prelims -- also an NCAA "B" mark.

UC Davis wrapped up the day with its first relay win of the weekend, as the team of Hunt, Hailey Ferko, Cheung, and Shellem, touched first in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:40.87, knocking nearly two seconds off its previous low of 3:42.15.

Shellem set a season low in 200 free with a time of 1:48.11 to finish third, while Ferko added a season low time of 1:02.98 in the 100 breaststroke to finish fifth. Marissa Brown finished sixth in the 400 IM to pace the Aggies in that event (4:24.45).

In Pasadena, California, junior Audrey DeNeffe finished seventh on the platform with a score of 189.90, while Lucy Lafranchise (9th with 185.00), Angelina Proshak (10th with 182.35), Hanna Tears (13th with 171.40), Shannon Stewart (16th with 157.15), and Serena Yee (17th with 144.70), rounded out the group.
