LOS ANGELES -- Just 24 hours after making her first championship final at the UCLA Bruin Diving Invitational, junior Lucy Lafranchise posted her second such finish, ending the day in 16th on the 1-meter board to close out day two at the Spieker Aquatics Center in Los Angeles.

Lafranchise, who finished 13th on the 3-meter board on Saturday, moved up one spot from her qualifying position, ending the event with a total of 459.10. She scored a 232.45 during her six-dive prelim round, and a 226.65 in the championship final.

After finishing third during the prelims, Hawai'i's Aimee Harrison was the event champion, scoring a 595.90 to edge UCLA's Maria Polyakova by seven-tenths of a point.

Senior Shannon Stewart was the next-highest finisher for the Aggies during the preliminary round, scoring a 196.30 to end up 31st. Hanna Tears (33rd), Angelina Proshak (34th), Audrey DeNeffe (35th), and Ani Vemury (37th), rounded out the UC Davis contingent.

The Aggies close out competition in Los Angeles on Monday (Jan. 19) with the platform diving event at 10 a.m.
