AUSTIN, Texas -- UC Davis sophomore Hilvy Cheung hit her third NCAA "B" standard of the weekend, this time in the 200 fly, while four of her teammates made the finals in their respective events on Saturday, wrapping up the UC Davis women's swimming team's stay at the Texas Hall of Fame Swimming Invitational in Austin, Texas.

The Aggies finished with 87 points to place 10th out of 17 teams, earning 25 points in the final day of competition.

Cheung, who finished 13th in the 200 fly prelims with a time of 2:01.17 earlier in the day, shaved nearly four seconds off that time to win the "B" final and place ninth, touching in a season-best time of 1:57.50 to finish two seconds under the NCAA "B" qualifying standard of 1:59.59. Cheung also met the "B" standard in the 100 fly earlier in the weekend, with a finals time of 53.95 and a season-best 53.55 in the prelims.

Junior Marissa Brown earned UC Davis' first point of the day, finishing 16th in the 1,650 free with a time of 17:00.39. Kirsten Brand (17:21.27) and Lexy Troup (17:25.78), finished 27th and 28th in the event respectively.

Senior Samantha Shellem added another point in the 100 free, finishing 16th with a time of 50.61, while sophomore Elise Roberts (2:18.26) and Hailey Ferko (2:21.41) made the finals in the 200 breaststroke, finishing 26th and 30th, respectively, while Megan Leung joined Cheung in the finals of the 200 fly, finishing 31st with a time of 2:06.71.

UC Davis then wrapped up the day with both of its teams in the 400 free relay scoring points. The "A" quartet of Hilary Hunt, Shellem, Courtney Schultz, and Cheung, finished 12th with a time of 3:25.79, followed by the "B" team of Robin Lampron, Brittany Rojo, Marrisa LaFreniere, and Kirsten Brand, in 15th with a time of 3:27.29.

The trip to Texas wrapped up the fall portion of the Aggies' schedule as the UC Davis doesn't return to the pool until Jan. 10, hosting the Aggie Open at the Schaal Aquatics Center.
