COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Freshmen Lucy Lafranchise and Hanna Tears returned to the water Friday afternoon in day two at the Zone E Diving Regional from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., to participate in the 1-meter preliminaries.

Out of her six dives, Lafranchise recorded a 225.65 at Cadet Natatorium to finish No. 39, her teammate Tears posted a 188.00 to finish No. 49.

Friday's 1-meter action was the second straight day of action for the pair; Tears and Lafranchise earned scores of 205.15 and 202.20 during Thursday's 3-meter preliminaries to finish No. 48 and No. 49 respectively.

As was the case Thursday evening, Arizona's Samantha Pickens finished the final round with the No. 1 score of 307.40 for her dives.
