AUBURN, Ala. - UC Davis sophomore Liliana Alvarez clocked in at 1:01.83 in the 100 yard breaststroke to finish 36th overall in the event preliminaries, Friday at the 2012 Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championship at the James E. Martin Aquatics Center in Auburn, Ala.

Alvarez will continue with competition tomorrow, racing in the 200 yard breaststroke preliminaries. She is seeded 38th in the event and will race in the third heat in lane seven.
