SEATTLE, Wash. - The UC Davis women's swimming and diving team posted a pair of convincing victories, winning 198-64 over MPSF foe Seattle and 169.5-92.5 over Idaho in a double dual meet on Saturday at the Connolly Center Pool.
The Aggies took victories in nine of the 14 events en route to the sweep over both schools. UC Davis improved to 3-0 on the season with a 2-0 mark in MPSF play, while Seattle dropped to 0-4 and Idaho moved to 1-2.
Kayleigh Foley recorded multiple wins in individual events for the Aggies, finishing first in the 50 freestyle (23.88) and the 100 freestyle (51.81).
UC Davis also had multiple relay wins in the 200 yard medley (1:47.90) and 400 yard freestyle (3:36.50).
The Aggies took one through four in the 1000 yard freestyle and the 200 yard butterfly, as Madeline Talt had the victory in the freestyle (10:30.26) and Sara Ramos the win in the butterfly (2:09.30).
Other first-place finishes for UC Davis included the 100 yard backstroke (Lauren Damian, 58.29), 100 yard breaststroke (Liliana Alvarez, 1:04.85) and the 200 yard IM (Katherine Edwards, 2:08.81).
Seattle's lone event win came in the 200 breaststroke, while Idaho managed wins in four events. Idaho's Rachel Millet won all three individual events she entered, finishing first in the 200 freestyle (1:52.14), the 500 freestyle (5:04.56), and the 100 butterfly (56.66).
UC Davis will stay on the road next weekend, traveling to San Jose State for a dual match on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 1 p.m.
