LONG BEACH, Calif. - Senior Alex Arbios won the 1,000-yard freestyle and UC Davis won both men's and women's 800 free relays to highlight the first day of the 2009 Big West Conference Swimming and Diving Championships at the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool Wednesday night. Both UC Davis squads sit third overall.
