AUSTIN, Texas - Jimmy Fong, Nik Kemp and Kyle Anderson each had team-best showings in their respective events and combined with teammate Toki Burke to finish fourth in the 200-Meter Medley Relay to highlight the second day of the All-American Long Course Invitational for UC Davis Friday at the Jamail Texas Swimming Center.

The four swimmers combined to finished fourth in the 200 medley with a time of 1:50.28. UC Davis had a second-place showing in the 200 free relay during the first day of the invite.

Fong was the Aggies' best individual finisher on the day with his 15th-place showing in the 100 backstroke (1:00.91). Anderson was 21st in the 100 breastroke (1:09.76) while Kemp took 23rd in the 200 free (1:59.34).

Along with competing against Olympic gold medalists Ian Crocker and Michael Phelps yesterday, today's competition was highlight by a first-place finish in the 100 back from Aaron Peirsol, who won gold in the event at the 2004 Olympic Games.

The Aggies will return to the invite tomorrow morning with preliminaries beginning at 7:30 a.m PST. Finals are scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. PST.
