SAN JOSE, Calif. - Senior hole set Beth Harberts scored midway into the second sudden-death overtime period to lift No. 9 San Jose State to a 10-9 victory over No. 10 UC Davis in a non-conference women's water polo game at the SJSU Aquatics Center Saturday afternoon.
The Aggies move to 13-8 for the year. The Spartans improve to 10-9.
Senior Christi Raycraft, junior Lindsay Kiyama and freshman Dakotah Mohr each scored two goals for UC Davis, which came back from a 4-1 deficit in the first quarter to take a 7-6 lead through three frames. Mohr scored on a 6-on-5 goal and a penalty shot, the latter of which was drawn by senior center Ashley Greenwood.
Greenwood, Sofia Patronas and Laura Uribe also scored goals for the Aggies. Sophomore Casey Hines posted nine saves, playing all 42-plus minutes in the UC Davis cage.
