STANFORD, Calif. - UC Davis completed the second day of action, Saturday, at the ITA Northwest Championships in Stanford. Herzyl Legaspi picked up a pair of victories in the consolation singles draw. Desiree Stone had her run in the main draw ended with a loss in the round of 32.

Legaspi started her day with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Cal Poly's Brooke Pletcher in the consolation round of 64. She then posted another straight sets victory when she defeated Nevada's Venise Dinh, 6-3, 6-3. With the win, Legaspi joins five other Aggies with at least two wins this fall.

After a pair of wins Friday in the main draw, Stone was defeated by Cal's Cristina Visico, 6-2, 6-2, on Saturday. Jenna Kappel, Andrea Phillips, Anita Athavale, Jessica Harris and Kaitlin Callan were also in action Saturday and were defeated in the opening consolation round.
