Biography

2008-09: Went 9-17 in singles and 12-14 in doubles...Finished fourth on the team in total victories...Falls results includes a 1-3 singles mark and a a 1-2 record in doubles...Dual singles starts were spread out from No. 2 to No. 4...Went 2-2 at No. 2 and 3-6 at both No. 3 and No. 4...Strongest stretch started in late February and ran through mid-March when she won five out six matches...Had a four-match winning streak with two wins at No. 3 and two at No. 4...All dual doubles action took place with Dahra Zamudio...The duo went 11-12 while posting a 3-1 mark at No. 1....The remaining dual matches took place at No. 2.

2007-08: DOUBLES HONORABLE MENTION ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE...Went 15-12 in singles and 12-14 in doubles...Finished 2nd on the Aggies in singles wins and in total victories...One of two Aggies (Desiree Stone) to post at least 10 wins in both singles and doubles....Went 2-3 in the fall before going 13-9 in the spring...After opening dual play 0-2, she won nine of her next 10 matches (all in straight sets)...Doubles breakdown included a 3-2 fall record before a 9-12 spring mark...Played 11 times at No. 1, mostly with Randi Schuler...Five of her seven appearances at No. 2 were with Jenna Kappel.

2006-07: Went 13-17 in singles, playing at No. 2 (1-4) and No. 3 (8-9) in dual competition... Lone win at No. 2 was split-set victory over Courtney Koenigsfeld of San Jose State... Added 10-19 doubles mark, mostly paired with Jenna Kappel (9-15)... Legaspi/Kappel tandem won four straight matches, including first three rounds at Ojai to advance to semifinal.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Vallejo HS as a freshman and sophomore, then Vintage HS as a junior and senior... Won team MVP and Monticello Empire League honors both years at Vallejo HS... Selected as Sacramento Bee Player of the Year in 2003... Captuerd Sac-Joaquin Section Division II title that year.

PERSONAL: Born in the Philippines... Majoring in exercise biology...Parents are Marciano & Rosalinda Legaspi... Lists Sabrina Ward Harrison as her non-sports hero.
