DAVIS, Calif. -- Due to rain in the Sunnyvale area, all games at the National Invitational Softball Tournament for Friday have been postponed. As a result, UC Davis will have its games against Southern Illinois and Arizona State pushed back to Saturday. The void created in Friday's schedule has allowed UC Davis to add a home game against St. Francis (NY). Game time at LaRue Field is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon. The NIST was scheduled to be a three-day tournament running from Friday through Sunday. It will now be shortened to two days. Sunday's schedule is to be announced following the conclusion of Saturday's action.
