Kimberly Miller joined the UC Davis women's volleyball program as a junior, transferring from College of the Desert in Palm Desert, where she graduated with honors in 2013.

Homeschooled up until her junior year in high school, Miller played two years of volleyball at Joshua Springs Christian School, starting both years on varsity as a middle blocker, trained by head coach Dennis Newcomb. She went on to play at College of the Desert, first year as a redshirt opposite, second year as a starting middle blocker under head coach Marion Champion.

Miller began her coaching career by assisting with the coaching staff at Joshua Springs in 2009, the season after graduation, and also helped out with the local club volleyball program, 16-18 division. She intends to return to Joshua Springs and coach after completing her education.

Miller plans to earn a bachelor's degree in animal science with a minor in education before applying for and being accepted into veterinary school. Miller also hopes to join the United States Army and use her skills to serve this country. When she's not pursuing her education, Miller lives in Morongo Valley with her husband of three years, Sean, and their two dogs."
