Andre Foster

  • Title
    Volunteer Assistant
Andre Foster enters his first season on the UC Davis women’s volleyball coaching staff, serving as a volunteer assistant with the Aggies for the 2020-21 school year.

The Davis, Calif., native returns home after wrapping up a well-traveled playing career, most recently at Division III Nichols College in Dudley, Mass., where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in sports management in 2019. He served as a team captain as both a junior and senior, leading the Bison and finishing among the top 10 in the New England Collegiate Conference in blocks, while standing fourth on the team in kills as a junior.

In 2020, he appeared in 15 matches and collected 53 kills to go along with 18 blocks and 15 aces, before the season came to a premature end.

He is currently pursuing a master’s in management from the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands as well as his MBA from Nichols College. Both are expected to be completed in the Fall of 2020.

Prior to competing for the Bison, Foster began his collegiate career at the University of Charleston in West Virginia, playing two seasons for the Golden Eagles before transferring and playing one season at Mount Ida College in Newton, Mass.

A two-time all-conference honoree at Davis Senior High School, Foster also serves as a coach for the Sacramento-based OMNI Volleyball Club and was a student assistant and manager for the Nichols College women’s volleyball program during his time there.
