Hilary Harkins

  • Title
    Women's Lacrosse Volunteer Assistant Coach
The all-time saves leader at UC Davis and an alumna of the U.S. Lacrosse Women's Development Team, Hilary Harkins returned to UC Davis in 2013 to serve as a volunteer assistant coach. She works primarily with the team's goalkeepers.

Harkins started for three straight years at goalie after splitting time with senior Kristen Braasch as a freshman in 2005. She enjoyed perhaps her best season as a junior, capturing All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation and IWLCA All-West/Midwest Region second-team honors.

The Orinda, Calif. native and Miramonte High School grad set a school record of 179 saves in her sophomore season, earning her a nod on the national development squad that summer. She was selected to an elite field of 130 top collegiate players from all divisions.

Harkins finished with 583 career saves for her four-year career. She is also credited for shutouts against Wittenberg (2007) and St. Vincent (2005).

Harkins, who won three MPSF All-Academic and two IWLCA All-Academic awards, graduated from UC Davis in 2008 with a degree in landscape architecture.
