- 2025 All-Big West Freshman Team
2025: Appeared in 27 of 28 contests in his freshman season, scoring 24 goals and 39 assists for 63 total points, ranking third on the Aggies...Also had 22 steals on the year, ranking fifth on the team...Had five multi-goal games throughout the season, including a two-goal, four-assist performance in the Big West Finals against Long Beach State on Nov. 23...His six point performance against the Beach was also a career-high...Overall, he had three or more points 13 times during the season...Scored a goal in the NCAA Tournament against Stanford...At seasons end, his performances led to him being named to the Big West All-Freshman Team.
PRIOR TO UC DAVIS
Hailing from Spain and C.N. Barcelona, Viñas comes to the Aggies after spending last season competing in both the European Aquatics Champions League and Euro Cup, the first and second-tier water polo competitions in Europe.
No stranger to high-level competition, Viñas previously won a juvenile gold medal for C.N. Barcelona in the 2021-22 Spanish Junior Men’s Water Polo Championship in the Royal Spanish Swimming Federation, the governing body for all aquatics competition in Spain.
