2014: Saw action in 31 games for 210.0 minutes... Shot 15-for-36 (.417) with 10 steals and 29 drawn kickouts... Had three 2-goal games, all at home: Cal Lutheran (9/27), Concordia (10/19) and UCLA (11/9)... Drew 3 exclusions four times, all against top 10 teams: UC Irvine (9/21), Stanford (10/5), Long Beach State (10/11) and UCLA (11/9)... ACWPC and WWPA All-Academic.
2013: Played all 27 games for 224.0 minutes... Shot 10-for-21 (.476) with 16 drawn exclusions (12 majors, 4 five-meter)... Also blocked 4 shots... Scored 2 goals with a drawn kickout vs. Cal (9/28)... Drew two five-meter penalties, both converted by teammate Chris Richardson, in WWPA win over Cal Baptist (10/26)... All-Academic honoree by WWPA and ACWPC, holding conference's highest GPA.
2012: Redshirted.
LELAND HS '12: Earned fifth-team NISCA/Speedo All-America status as a junior, then improved to third team as a senior... Also won Blossom Valley Athletic League MVP and All-Central Coast Section honors in each of final two seasons.
PERSONAL: Born in San Jose, Calif.... Majoring in computer engineering... Parents are Garrettson and Linda Ley... Older sister, Carina, graduated from UC Davis... Proudest personal accomplishment was his back-to-back prep All-America selections.
